“And it upsets me that as I record this video #wewillalwayssupportyoujustin is trending on twitter. I wish all the people who were tweeting that right now would be forced to send a tweet to explain to Katie’s family in 140 characters or less why they would quote always support someone who would do something as fundamentally selfish as driving drunk.”

everybody needs to share this.
Why the wedding ring is worn on the fourth finger: The Chinese give a beautiful explanation to this. The thumb represents your parents. The index finger represents your siblings. The middle finger represents yourself. The ring finger represents your life partner. The little finger/pinky represents your children. Hold your hands together like the picture. Join your middle fingers back-to-back, and the remaining fingers tip-to-tip. Now, try to separate your thumbs. They will separate because your parents are not destined to live with you forever. Rejoin your thumbs and separate your index fingers. They will separate because your siblings will have their own families and lead their own lives. Rejoin your index fingers and separate your little fingers/pinkies. They will separate because your children will grow up, get married, and settle down. Rejoin your little fingers/pinkies and try to separate your ring finger. They will not be able to separate because your life partner is meant to be with you throughout your entire life, through thick and thin.
I tried harder to separate them and I only ended up hurting my middle fingers, in other words, “mysel-
…Oh my god.
I love this explanation!

Snowflakes are actually the perfect metaphor for people. Each one IS unique, but we all have the same structure and are pretty similar in spite of our differences. And really, with as many around as there is, aint no one gonna notice your differences unless they care enough to look closely.
People are also similar to snowflakes in that it is difficult to drive when there are too many of them piled up on the road.
Well that took a turn I didn’t expect
So I painted Sherlock and Watson and made a video out of it. Here is the final result and here is the link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNF44yoo_4Q
It’s not perfect, but I like it. :D
They didn’t give him a gun, they gave him a screwdriver to fix things.
They didn’t give him a tank or a warship or a X-Wing fighter, they gave him a call box from which you can call for help.
And they didn’t give him a superpower or pointy ears or a heat ray, they gave him an extra heart. They gave him two hearts.
And thats an extraordinary thing; there will never come a time when we don’t need a hero like the doctor.
wait…they’re not free?
Not in America
Wait, where are they free?
literally everywhere else
So the fact that Osgood had the Fourth Doctor’s scarf was very cute. Or at least it would have been, if it were the same scarf. Which it’s not.
Because the 4th Doctor’s scarf was very clearly in garter stitch
Whereas the scarf that Osgood is wearing is in stockinette stitch.
Don’t mess with a knitter over stitch patterns okay. I WAS UPSET ABOUT THIS.
Aw, my first post ever to hit 1,000 notes. I’d like to thank the academy.
I don’t think it was supposed to be the same scarf. I think Osgood is simply a fan of the doctor, so she got a similar scarf. Like all the fans who buy replicas of the costume of there favorite character. She probably got a cheaper version.
